Freewell Brandon Li 95mm Variable Density ND/CPL Filter Set

The Freewell Brandon Li Cine Pro Kit 95 mm is a comprehensive filter set from the Cinema series, designed for lenses with a 95 mm thread and for use with larger photographic and film lenses. The kit combines a 1–5-stop VND filter with an independently adjustable CPL, an additional ND32 filter that extends the light reduction range to 6–10 stops, and a 1/4 Cine Glow Mist filter that provides a subtle softening effect on the image. The entire system uses a magnetic mounting system with a mechanical lock, and the kit also includes a 95 mm base ring, front and rear caps, and accessories for storage and cleaning.

Independently Adjustable VND and CPL

The main module combines a variable ND filter with a CPL polarizing filter, but each of these functions can be adjusted separately. The black ring allows you to adjust the VND’s darkness in the range of 1–5 stops, while the green ring is used to set the polarization and reduce reflections on water, glass, and other non-metallic surfaces, among others. This design allows you to first adjust the exposure to the scene and then independently set the polarization level without adding a separate CPL filter.

Range from 1 to 10 stops with the ND32 filter

The VND/CPL module itself offers adjustment from 1 to 5 stops, while attaching the included ND32 filter extends the operating range to 6–10 stops. The ND32 can also be used on its own on a 95 mm base ring as a fixed 5-stop reduction filter, which increases the number of possible kit configurations. Such a wide range makes it easier to maintain your desired shutter speed and aperture settings in both soft light and bright daylight conditions.

Cine Glow Mist 1/4 and Quick Magnetic System

The Cine Pro version differs from the basic Cine Kit by including the Cine Glow Mist 1/4 filter, which gently diffuses bright areas of the frame, softens highlights, and helps achieve a gentler, more cinematic look. The Glow Mist filter can be used directly with the base ring or magnetically attached to the VND/CPL module, allowing you to quickly change the look of your image without having to reconfigure the entire setup. The mounting system uses magnets for quick filter attachment and a short twist to mechanically lock it in place, reducing the risk of accidental detachment while shooting on the move.

Larger Cine Design and Color Control

The main VND/CPL module has an outer diameter of 109.5 mm, a thickness of 7.6 mm, and weighs 62.2 g, corresponding to a design intended for larger lenses. The optical system utilizes 18-layer optical coatings and the True Color / Anti-Color Shift Layer technology, which is designed to minimize unwanted color shifts when adjusting the filter density. The front cover is additionally equipped with an integrated gray card for white balance control, and the Cine system itself is compatible with dedicated Cine rings in sizes 82, 86, and 95 mm.
