The SJCAM C400 combines a compact design with 4K Ultra HD recording at 30 fps, making it ideal for capturing both everyday vlogs and dynamic POV shots. The stabilization system, which uses a 6-axis gyroscope and the Steady Motion V1.0 algorithm, helps reduce shake, while the wireless controller with a 2.29" rotating touchscreen allows you to preview the image and control the camera remotely. The controller works at a distance of up to 8 m, and when paired with the camera, it allows you to record 4K footage for up to 7 hours.

Compact Design and 4K Recording

The SJCAM C400’s detachable design gives you greater freedom in choosing where and how to record. The small camera can be detached to capture footage from a first-person perspective and take shots from various angles, while its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to take along during daily activities and travels. The C400 records video in 4K Ultra HD at 30 fps, allowing you to capture a wealth of detail and vivid colors in your footage. Portrait or landscape—adjust the frame to suit your content

The rotatable screen makes it easy to switch between portrait and landscape recording, allowing you to adjust the image orientation to match your content. The portrait orientation is ideal for creating content for social media, while landscape works well for recording in a traditional format. The rotating display provides a convenient preview and helps you frame your shot precisely; rotating it also turns the device on.

Remote Control and Preview

The wireless controller allows you to operate the SJCAM C400 without needing direct access to the mounted camera. Via a Bluetooth connection, you can remotely start and stop recording and change settings, with a control range of up to 8 m. The controller features a 2.29" rotatable touchscreen that provides a live preview, allowing you to check the frame in real time and control recording remotely. This is particularly useful when shooting on your own or in situations where the camera is in a location that makes direct operation difficult.

Steady Motion V1.0 for Smoother Footage

Image stabilization is handled by a 6-axis gyroscope working in conjunction with the Steady Motion V1.0 algorithm. The system minimizes the impact of camera vibrations on the recorded footage, helping to produce smoother footage when shooting on the move.
