ELEGOO Standard Resin 1.0 is a photopolymer material designed for 3D printing, compatible with printers using LCD and DLP technologies. The formula is characterized by good fluidity, fast curing, high precision, and low shrinkage, allowing for accurate reproduction of shapes and fine design details. This resin is ideal for printing figurines, decorative models, hobbyist projects, and other designs where detail quality and print stability are essential.

High precision and low shrinkage

The resin’s properties allow for the accurate reproduction of fine details, textures, and more complex shapes. Low shrinkage during curing helps preserve the geometry of the design, which is particularly important for models containing many small parts. Once cured, the material also offers good hardness and stability, making the finished model less prone to deformation.

Good flow and stable printing

Good fluidity ensures that the resin spreads quickly in the reservoir and efficiently returns to the print area between successive layers. Combined with fast curing, this can streamline the model-building process and promote consistent results. The material also adheres well to the build plate, which helps keep the print in place while the printer is operating and increases the likelihood of successfully completing the project.

Easy cleaning and removal of the model from the build plate

Once printing is complete, the resin’s properties make it easy to clean the print and remove the model from the build plate. This is particularly useful for models with a large number of supports that require further preparation after the printer has finished.

Preparation and Safe Use

The resin must be thoroughly mixed before use, and the manufacturer recommends an ambient temperature of 20–25°C during printing. The reference settings are 35 seconds for exposure of the bottom layers and 3.5 seconds for standard exposure—these values may need to be adjusted for a specific printer and print parameters. When working with uncured resin, wear protective gloves, avoid direct skin contact, and store the product out of the reach of children and away from direct sunlight.
